In HVAC news received May 31, 2023, Blackstone – one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers – and Emerson announced that private equity funds managed by Blackstone have completed the previously announced acquisition of a majority stake in Emerson’s Climate Technologies business. The transaction valued the business at a reported $14 billion.

Copeland products have also been at the center of changes in response to shifts in the industry related to electrification, as well as the EPA’s mandated phasedown of HFC refrigerants.
